We are a retired couple, both nurses, in our 60s interested in adopting one the blue heeler mixed pups. Our female blue heeler of 14 years is currently suffering from a stroke and not expected to live long. Our blue heeler mixed male is 16, deaf, going blind, incontinent of stool, confused and has hip issues. His days are also numbered. We love both our rescued dogs and will be brokenhearted when the inevitable happens soon.

We own our own home in Hilo and have the resources to provide them with a good home and regular vet care.
